How to use Ameba

I recommend this very first post for my 2 friends and for everyone who has problem to use ameba.jp
This post is about the basic things you use often if you have ameba.

So if you registered to ameba this will the page you will often see. This is the main page. You can find here everything and more. Let's move on to the 1st point. (* the red and orange marks)

Peta [ペタ]: It's a kind of game. You can give and get petas. As I remember you can give max. 500 peta/day but you can receive much more.

Messages [メッセージ]: Here can find the received, sent, draft messages and trashed too.

Friends [つながり]: Here you can find everyone who you added to read her/him blog, you added to your Now [なう] or requested to be her/him A-member [アメンバー]. A-member means you can read their secret entries, which can't be seen as to normal blog user or non-blog-users. And lot of japanese people likes to use this kind of entry. Later I'm going to tell you how can you make a secret entry too.

Theme or myskin [マイスキン]: Here you can change the theme of your mypage. You can only change the color or the whole skin.

And you don't need to save or accept the changes just click on the Ameba button, it's saving automatically.

Blog [ブログ]: If you click on this your browser automatically opens your blog.

Pigu [ピグ]: It's a game, but to show it needs more time and picture, so I will write a post about it later to how to use it. And I can just see I wrote 'piggu' on the picture, sorry it's a bad fixing in my mind, because of my friends always pronounced it to 'piggu' instead 'pigu', and you will see it in the post later about it - I wrote everywhere 'piggu' sorry.

Profile [プロフィール]: This button takes you to your profile page.

Now [なう]: This part of the Ameba is like Twitter. You can make here shortly status updates in 140 words. And also can follow people here you want.

Group [グルっぽ]: Direct button to the groups you are in.

Entry writing [ブログを書く]: If you want to write an entry click on this button and then you will find you in this page:

First step it is good if you give a title to your entry. Why? Because only in this way you can save or publish it later. From the buttons of the formatting I signed 2. The others are obvious I think. If you finished your entry you can choose that you deny the comments or not, to share it on Now, Facebook or Twitter, or to save as draft entry, secret entry or publish it and everyone can see it. Whatever you choose to save it a little pop-up window will come and in the back of the window you should accept it and then your entry is published. After that ameba returns you to the entry list where you can edit your post or delete.

Kuchikomi [ブログネタ]: Tell the truth I don't know what is it, I think it's also a kind of game but since I use ameba I don't know what it is or what it is for...

Entry list [記事の編集]: If you want to edit something in your entry or want to delete it, this is the short way to get to your entry list.

Blog skin [デザインの変更]: This button will take you to the skins you can choose for your blog. Here:

But don't worry. If you don't find any which you like let's choose one and you can change it later as you want. (If there will be a request to how to do it I will show it to you too.)

Comment list [コメントの管理]: This button takes you to a page where you can see all your comments you made.

View statistics [アクセス解析]: Here you can check how people found your blog, how many people watched your blog, what they watched, when per day/week/month.

Daily toplist [ランキング]: Shows where your blog takes place between other blogs (by viewing). If you want you can set  categories.

*Inside the red mark shows the updates of the blogs you added as a reader and the orange mark shows the blogs you recently visited.

I think this is all for first. I hope I helped everyone who didn't know how to use it. If you want to know more about ameba plz write it to me in comment what would you know and I will tell everything I know.
